Are you ready? The late nights, the long weekends, and the unbelievable devotion from our team has finally paid off! We are excited to announce the unveiling of the new ServiceLive! The ServiceLive marketplace today launches in Beta to all customers in need of any service offerings available in our community! ServiceLive now has a feature-rich interface that will benefit both the buyer and service provider. The most noticeable addition to this release is the distinction between the Simple Buyer and the Professional Buyer accounts. These new features provide robust tools to each buyer type to help them get connected with our community of over 10,000 Service Pros.

Here’s what to expect: We designed the Simple Buyer interface as the easiest method for a homeowner or small business to leverage ServiceLive. The interface is designed to simplify the user experience for scheduling a service order. A buyer will now be able to create a service request by utilizing the statement of work tools and by uploading project photos. In addition, the buyer could select Service Pros based on criteria such as past buyer ratings and languages spoken. Finally, the order could be paid and the buyer could rate the provider all from the comfort of their home or business. The Professional Buyer tool is tailored toward companies that want to leverage our vast selection of Service Pros to grow their business and profits by partnering with our talented service provider community.

Here are some of the benefits that the Professional Buyer tools will provide:

  • The ability to build an on-demand workforce – staff up for big projects or keep your company small until you need to expand.
  • Diversify your service offerings! ServiceLive will have one of the most expansive selections of services.
  • Offer more services through your company by sub-contracting jobs to providers whose skills complement your own.
  • Grow outside your market! Sell products and services in one part of the country to be delivered by providers in another.
  • Meet warranty obligations and provide amazing service to your customers.
  • Keep warranty costs low by hiring world class Service Pros nationwide to make repairs on an as-needed basis.
  • We appreciate your patience along this journey and we encourage your feedback through our Community Forum. Get ready to see some service orders, and pass the word along to your friends and family – ServiceLive is open for business. ServiceLive is the only home service marketplace of its type in the world. This is only the beginning! Thank you George Coll President, ServiceLive Inc.

    Welcome to the ServiceLive Blog

Posted by Frank under ServiceLive News

The purpose for our blog is to provide our community of subscribers information about the business of ServiceLive. Our blog will not leave itself short of information as we plan on providing a plethora of topics.

Some of the reasons why it’s important to have a company blog;ServiceLive Blog

#1 Blogs are great for handling major issues. A blog gives you the power to publish at an instant. This makes the blog a very powerful update tool - great for crisis handling. It’s like buying insurance - you’d never know when you’d need your blog to be the company’s voice to the media and the world.

#2 Blogs help to engage customers in conversation, and help in building relationships. The more trust and familiarity between two entities, the higher the possibility of a transaction. Blogs are emails done with “pull” technology. Emails are effective but spam is destroying it (if not now, soon).

#3 Blogs help to put a human voice to a company. Because of the conversational nature of blogs (as opposed to journalistic writing), blogs put a human voice to the company.

We hope that you find our blog useful and informative. We will post often to keep every one informed instantly. If you have a question, or concern, you can post a comment here.
